Sheila T's Scrapbook: Pink Saturday!

I have been recently informed by my daughter that neon colors are all the rage in middle-school nail polish! We had to go to Claire's and get her some new polish. Notice which color is front and center!

Visit Beverly at "How Sweet the Sound" for more pink posts on Pink Saturday! Also, there are some pink flowers I posted Monday here: http://sheilatsscrapbook.blogspot.com/2009/05/may-flowers-in-my-mamas-yard.html

Sheila T's Scrapbook: Pink Saturday!

Well, I was having a little dilemma figuring out what to put on my blog for Pink Saturday! I have already done many of my pink photos. Then I wandered into my younger daughter’s room, and I discovered a plethora of pink items!

First, there is her pink FLUTE CASE. Much better than those black ones everyone used to have, don’t you think?

Next, there is a decorative cowgirl boot she uses for a flower vase! Her aunt gave it to her for Christmas one time when she was still taking riding lessons. Several touches of pretty pink!

There is a large smiling fabric FLOWER. No wonder it’s smiling!

Fourth, there is a big, inflatable PINK CAT. Also smiling!

Finally, there is an exotic PINK DISCO CLOCK. (It’s cute, but you really don’t want this thing waking you up in the morning!)

I hit the jackpot in this room!

Sheila T's Scrapbook: Pink Saturday!

You never know with dogs. This dog, Roscoe P. Taylor, is a master of disguise. He always looks innocent of any wrongdoing, and he is usually guilty of something. He'll chew anything from firewood to a bobblehead of Edgar Allan Poe. In this photo he is reclining on a pink blanket while he chews on my daughter's fingers. He's a beagle mix who loves my husband more than me even though I am the woman who feeds him! You never know.

Pink Saturday: Impatiens!

I usually give my mother some impatiens for Mother's Day, sometimes a basket, sometimes some plants for her flower beds. These photos show the shades of pink that sometimes appear!

Pink Saturday: My Friends!

This picture was taken when my friends and I went to a tearoom near Dahlonega, Georgia. There are seven of us called the Marigolds; we go somewhere together each month. Their names are Tabor and Mary; I liked their big smiles, the hats, and the pinks in this photo.

Pink Saturday: My Mother's Climbing Roses

These pictures were made two different years: 2004 and 2007. The roses grow up her fence and bloom in the most delicate pink shades. (Most of my flower pictures come from her yard, not mine, because I am not much of a gardener!)
