A friend from college came by and met us for lunch today! We hadn't seen her for 19 1/2 years. That was fun, although the waitress at Appleby's tried to hurry us along.
"I sing of brooks, of blossoms, birds and bowers,
Of April, May, of June and July-flowers;
I sing of May-poles, hock-carts, wassails, wakes,
Of bridegrooms, brides and of their bridal cakes..."
—Robert Herrick
“A good snapshot
stops a moment
from running away.”
